Virtual Terminals are seperate terminal instances that can be opened using the function keys. See Wikipedia for more information. These are often abreviated VT1, VT2 and so on. VT stands for "Virtual Terminal" and the number is the number of the terminal. Ubuntu goes up to 6, with 7 being the X server

How to open oneEdit

This works the same for ChromeOS and Ubuntu. On the Cr-48 the keys on the top row are the function keys. <= is F1, => is F2 and so on. To switch to a Virtual Terminal simply press Ctrl + Alt + F(VT Number). For example to get to VT2 you would press Ctrl + Alt + F2 (On the Cr-48 F2 is the forward button)
